Chicago is about to welcome a new destination built for a complete evening out. Opening in September in River North, The Carlyle Club brings steaks, sushi and cocktails to a polished setting at 316 N Clark, with an experience designed to move naturally from dinner into late drinks and conversation.
A new address on the Chicago River
The venue places guests directly beside the Chicago River, pairing an indoor dining room and bar with a waterfront patio. Its visual identity is warm and composed: deep red tones, marble, sculptural pendant lighting, an illuminated bar and framed city views. The effect is intentionally social rather than formal—an environment made for lingering.
Classic American, reimagined
The opening menu centers on steaks, sushi and cocktails, with classic American dishes interpreted through global influences. The approach matches the room: elevated without losing the energy of a place that can host a full dinner, a relaxed happy hour or a spontaneous night by the river.
- Steaks, sushi and cocktails as the core of the experience.
- A riverfront patio for drinks, conversation and Chicago skyline views.
- Indoor dining and bar seating designed for an unhurried evening.
A private first look for Chicago creators
On September 28, 2026, includX will host a private Creator Night at The Carlyle Club from 6 to 9 PM. The event offers invited creators an early look at the new space through cocktails, light bites and select menu dishes. Invitations are limited; the event announcement directs interested creators to comment “Carlyle Club” or contact includX directly.
A great hospitality destination gives guests a reason to arrive—and enough atmosphere to stay.
For restaurant operators, The Carlyle Club is a reminder that a memorable destination is built through the whole sequence of the guest experience: the approach, the first sight of the room, the bar, the menu, the terrace and the city beyond it. We look forward to seeing this new River North address come to life.
